Workplace Assessments

Participant Privacy Notice

A plain-language notice for people participating in a Longitude6-enabled workplace assessment.

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Before you participate

Your employer, client organisation, consultant, or another authorised organisation may have asked you to complete a workplace assessment using Longitude6 or one of our technology partners. This notice explains what may happen to your information.

Who is responsible for your information?

The organisation that requested your assessment will often decide why the assessment is being performed and how the results are used. In that situation, it may be the controller/business responsible for your information and Longitude6 may process information on its behalf.

If Longitude6 independently determines a purpose for processing, Longitude6 may also have direct privacy responsibilities. Your invitation, consent form, assessment instructions, or employer privacy notice may provide additional details.

What information may be collected?

  • Your name or participant identifier and relevant job/employment information.
  • Information about your job tasks, work demands, equipment, or work environment.
  • Video or images of you performing work tasks or movements, where required.
  • Movement, posture, ergonomic, functional, physical-demand, sensor, or wellbeing measurements.
  • Health, injury-risk, survey, or safety information where relevant to the assessment and permitted by law.
  • Assessment results, scores, reports, recommendations, or reviewer notes.

Why is it collected?

Information may be used to conduct the requested assessment, understand workplace demands or risks, support workplace health and safety programs, produce reports, provide implementation or support services, and meet legal or contractual requirements.

Automated analysis and human review

Some technologies use computer vision, algorithms, sensors, or automated analysis to generate measurements, scores, classifications, risk indicators, or reports. These outputs are designed to support—not replace—appropriate professional and human judgment.

Significant employment, eligibility, healthcare, or other decisions should not be based solely on an automated score unless that use has been specifically disclosed, is legally permitted, and includes the safeguards required by applicable law.

Who may receive the results?

Depending on the program, results may be available to the organisation that requested the assessment, authorised managers, safety or health professionals, consultants, Longitude6 personnel who support the service, and the selected technology provider. Access should be limited to people who need the information for an authorised purpose.

Where is information processed?

Information may be processed in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, or other countries used by the relevant client, Longitude6, or authorised service providers. Appropriate safeguards are used where required by law.

How long is it kept?

Retention depends on the assessment, client instructions, contract, legal requirements, and sensitivity of the information. Where Longitude6 acts on behalf of a client, we follow the client's documented retention instructions unless law requires otherwise.

Your choices and rights

Your rights depend on applicable law and the role of the organisation that requested the assessment. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, withdraw consent where consent is relied on, or request information about automated processing. If Longitude6 acts only on behalf of your employer/client, we may refer your request to that organisation.
